JOB RESPONSIBILITY:

1. Project Execution & Management

  • Lead end-to-end execution of solar water pump projects under MSEDCL and MEDA schemes across Maharashtra and west region.
  • Ensure compliance with MNRE guidelines, DISCOM standards, and government regulations.
  • Oversee site surveys, engineering design, procurement, installation, and commissioning.
  • Monitor timelines, budgets, and quality standards to ensure successful completion.

2. Team Leadership

  • Manage and guide project engineers, site supervisors, and contractors.
  • Allocate responsibilities, monitor performance, and drive skill enhancement initiatives.
  • Enforce a strict safety and compliance culture at all project sites.

3. Stakeholder & Vendor Management

  • Build strong relationships with MSEDCL, MEDA, government bodies, EPC contractors, and suppliers.
  • Negotiate with vendors for cost efficiency while maintaining quality.
  • Coordinate for timely delivery of materials and services.

4. Financial & Operational Control

  • Prepare and manage project budgets with a focus on cost optimization.
  • Approve work orders, bills, and payment schedules.
  • Monitor project profitability and suggest operational improvements.

5. Quality, Compliance & Reporting

  • Conduct quality checks and ensure adherence to technical specifications.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for audits, claims, and regulatory submissions.
  • Provide regular progress reports and MIS to senior management.

6. Liaison with Government Authorities:

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with relevant state and central government departments, regulatory agencies, and energy development authorities.
  • Manage end-to-end processes for obtaining licenses, NOCs, environmental clearances, land use permissions, and project-specific approvals.

DESIRED PROFILE:

  • Expertise in solar water pump technology and installation.
  • Proficiency in MS Project, AutoCAD, and MS Office Suite.
  • Strong understanding of BOQs, tender documentation, and quality standards.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.

  • Ability to work under pressure and travel extensively across Maharashtra and western states.
