Job Title: Sales Executive – Industrial Pumps & Motors

Location: Madukkarai , Coimbatore

Sales & Marketing

Reports To: Sales Manager / Business Development Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Sales Executive to drive sales growth for our industrial pumps and motors division. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of mechanical systems, especially related to pump and motor technology, with hands-on knowledge of assembly and production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers in industrial sectors (e.g., manufacturing, chemical, water treatment, etc.).
  • Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable pump and motor solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations to customers, demonstrating how products meet customer needs.
  • Work closely with the production and assembly teams to understand product capabilities and delivery timelines.
  • Collaborate with the design and engineering teams to provide customer feedback and suggest product improvements.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets set by the company.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities.
  • Generate and follow up on quotations and proposals.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and pipeline updates in CRM software.
  • Provide post-sales support, including installation coordination and troubleshooting when required.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
  • 3+ to 10 years of experience in industrial sales, preferably in pumps, motors, or rotating equipment.
  • Knowledge of industrial assembly and production processes.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
  • Self-driven with a strong customer focus and result-oriented approach.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Technical certification in pump systems or motor applications.
  • Understanding of ISO standards and safety compliance in production settings.
