Role & responsibilities
Partnership Development
- Identify and research potential funding sources including HNIs, corporate CSR departments, foundations, and institutional donors.
- Conduct face-to-face meetings with potential donors to present organizational mission and funding needs.
- Negotiate partnership terms and secure funding commitments that align with organizational goals.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of prospective donors and partners.
- Create compelling fundraising proposals, concept notes, and partnership agreements tailored to donor interests.
Strategic Planning & Implementation
- Research market trends and donor preferences to identify new funding opportunities.
- Collaborate with program teams to align fundraising initiatives with organizational priorities
Preferred candidate profile
Minimum 3 years of experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Sales experience in corporate environment
- Fundraising experience in NGO/nonprofit sector
- Partnership development in NGO/development sector
- Corporate relationship management.
- Proven track record of meeting fundraising targets and building successful partnerships
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with CSR partnerships and HNI engagement
- Knowledge of fundraising best practices and donor stewardship
- Familiarity with NGO operations and development sector
- Bilingual capabilities (as per organizational needs)
