Role & responsibilities

Partnership Development

  • Identify and research potential funding sources including HNIs, corporate CSR departments, foundations, and institutional donors.
  • Conduct face-to-face meetings with potential donors to present organizational mission and funding needs.
  • Negotiate partnership terms and secure funding commitments that align with organizational goals.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of prospective donors and partners.
  • Create compelling fundraising proposals, concept notes, and partnership agreements tailored to donor interests.

Strategic Planning & Implementation

  • Research market trends and donor preferences to identify new funding opportunities.
  • Collaborate with program teams to align fundraising initiatives with organizational priorities

Preferred candidate profile

Minimum 3 years of experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Sales experience in corporate environment
  • Fundraising experience in NGO/nonprofit sector
  • Partnership development in NGO/development sector
  • Corporate relationship management.
  • Proven track record of meeting fundraising targets and building successful partnerships

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with CSR partnerships and HNI engagement
  • Knowledge of fundraising best practices and donor stewardship
  • Familiarity with NGO operations and development sector
  • Bilingual capabilities (as per organizational needs)
