The Data Platform Lead leads the development, implementation, and management of Unilode's data warehouse and associated infrastructure. The role ensures the data platform is robust, scalable, and optimised to support analytics, insights, and business decision-making. It also drives platform innovation and partners across teams to enable secure, accessible, and high-quality data.

Key Responsibilities

Data Platform Strategy and Management

  • Design and oversee data environments (DEV, STG, PROD) to support diverse analytics and operational needs.
  • Own vendor relationships and manage platform contracts, renewals, and training requirements.
  • Consolidate and modernise platforms to minimise technical debt and improve scalability.

Data Engineering and Optimization

  • Lead the implementation of data pipelines, lakehouse architecture, and cross-source interoperability.
  • Define standards for data pipelines and support analytics engineers to enable efficient scaling.
