Key Responsibilities
- Identify new business opportunities through cold calling, lead generation, and networking.
- Engage in online bidding on freelancing platforms such as Upwork, Fiverr, Freelancer, and Guru to acquire new clients and projects.
- Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline for software development and IT services.
- Write and present business proposals, presentations, and project quotations tailored to client requirements.
- Conduct client meetings, negotiations, and follow-ups to close deals successfully.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients through continuous engagement and account management.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to strategize effectively.
- Utilize a pre-existing network in the IT industry to expand the client base and partnerships.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, IT, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience as a Business Development Executive or similar role in a software development / IT services company.
- Proven track record in business generation, cold calling, and client acquisition.
- Experience with online bidding platforms (Upwork, Fiverr, Freelancer etc.) is highly preferred (Not Mandatory)
- Strong understanding of IT services, web, and app development projects.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and client negotiation skills.
- Strong business writing skills for proposals, quotations, and client communication.
- Ability to work independently and meet revenue targets.
- A network within the IT or startup ecosystem will be a significant advantage.
