Sales and Business Development Executive

About the Role
In this exciting role, you will play a key part in driving sales growth and building strategic partnerships to expand SkyHike's reach. You will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, catering to potential leads, and converting them into happy SkyHike customers. You'll also build and nurture relationships with potential customers. You will attract new clients and build solid relationships with them while maintaining existing relationships. Other duties will include market research, developing business strategies and pitches, managing a variety of projects, and identifying new business opportunities. You will work with various departments and report to the Head of Business Development.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement targeted sales strategies to achieve revenue goals.
- Prospect for and qualify new leads through various channels
- Present and negotiate SkyHike's travel packages effectively with clients.
- Manage the sales pipeline and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Contribute to the development and execution of marketing initiatives to support sales efforts.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor offerings.
- Willing to familiarize yourself with the company's vision and mission, seeking to accomplish set goals and objectives.
- Collating and maintaining client information in the CRM database.
- Working closely with staff across departments to implement growth strategies.
- Developing and implementing sales strategies, client service and retention plans, and analyzing sales data to inform or update marketing strategies.
- Identify new business opportunities and partners.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor offerings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any field
- Anyone can apply (Including Freshers)
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong relationship-building and negotiation abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of the travel industry and current travel trends.
- Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite 'or' Google WorkSpace
- A passion for travel and a strong understanding of different travel styles
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred

- Bachelor's degree in Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field
- Minimum 1 year of experience in travel Sales or a similar role
- Sales CRM knowledge (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho, Oddo) would be an advantage
