Position: Business Development Manager / Export Manager Africa Market (Building Materials, TMT steel Bars, Tiles, Sanitaryware) or other items in demand for export in African market.

Objective: We are looking for an experienced export professional who already has contacts or buyer links in African countries or any other countries and can help us develop business and get clients from Africa. The ideal candidate will have strong exposure to international trade, excellent knowledge of the African market and other countries where export has a scope, and proven experience in managing export operations, distributor relationships, and business development in the region.

Experience Required: 5 -12 years in export or international business, preferably in building materials/TMT bars / tiles / sanitaryware exports to Africa.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Identify and connect with potential buyers/importers in African markets.
  • Manage and grow business across African countriesand any other country where there is a scope of export by developing strong distributor and customer relationships.
  • Handle end-to-end export documentation, order processing, shipment coordination, and payment follow-ups.
  • Use existing contacts to develop new clients and increase export sales.
  • Ensure compliance with export regulations, LC documentation, and trade policiesof the target markets.
  • Handle complete export business development cycle: enquiry, quotation, negotiation, and closing.
  • Coordinate with logistics and documentation teams for shipment execution.
  • Maintain long-term business relationships with African distributors and wholesalers.
  • Update management on market trends, pricing, and competitor activities in Africa.
  • Participate in trade fairs, exhibitions, and international business events relevant to the West African market.
