About Us


Quark Solar Pvt Ltd is a solar energy company based in Mumbai. Since its inception in 2010, the company has focused on the EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) of battery-based solar rooftops. Over time, Quark Solar has transitioned into larger industrial and commercial rooftop projects, including MW-scale and ground-mount projects across India. The company offers solar projects under various models, including CAPEX, OPEX, and EMI.

This is a full-time on-site role for a Business Development Manager at Quark Solar Pvt Ltd in Mumbai


Key Responsibilities

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, developing and maintaining relationships with clients, conducting market research, preparing and presenting proposals, and negotiating contracts. You will also be responsible to groom a team of BD associates and interns to grow. The role involves actively contributing to the growth of the company's solar projects portfolio and achieving sales targets.

Requirements
  • 3 years' experience in business development, sales, or a related field

  • Strong CRM software skills

  • Strong understanding of the solar energy industry and market trends

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills

  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships

  • Proven track record in meeting or exceeding sales targets

  • Knowledge of project financing models and investor relations

  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)

The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to build new business for the company. This candidate will be focused and have strong communication skills. They should be able to think critically when making plans and have a demonstrated ability to execute a particular strategy.
