Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and result-driven Area Sales Manager to lead and expand our sales operations in the building material sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing business in a defined territory, managing key accounts, building strong customer relationships, and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned area.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base, including dealers, contractors, and retailers in the building materials sector.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers, understanding their needs and providing technical and commercial support.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to suggest improvements in products or services.
  • Conduct regular field visits to key customers, dealers, and project sites to ensure excellent customer service and promote brand visibility.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis to the management.
  • Coordinate with internal teams such as logistics, procurement, and accounts to ensure timely delivery and smooth order processing.
  • Train and mentor the sales team (if applicable) in the assigned region.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience as a Sales Manager or Area Sales Manager in the building materials industry (tiles, cement, sanitary ware, paints, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of the building material products and market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing market share.
  • Ability to travel frequently within the assigned territory.
  • Result-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.

Preferred:

  • Experience handling dealer and distributor networks.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office and CRM tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹1,000, ₹1,200,000.00 per year
