About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced, passionate, and detail-oriented Business Development Manager to foster and expand Quantiphi's relationships with key clients in the life sciences sector. In this role, you will collaborate closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to manage and grow partnerships, primarily focusing on Global Capability Centres (GCCs) in India. Your success will hinge on your ability to build strong client relationships, lead strategic discussions, and identify new business opportunities or extensions to ongoing projects.
As the primary point of contact for your accounts, you will deeply understand client needs, define potential opportunities, and help deliver solutions that achieve mutual satisfaction. You will play a critical role in identifying ways to further deepen client relationships, ensuring long-term growth and success.
Key Responsibilities:

Engage and lead discussions with senior executives across GCCs in India.

Drive the development of new business and cultivate strategic, long-term, high-value partnerships.

Act as a proactive hunter, acquiring new life sciences clients by managing technical sales, lead generation, go-to-market strategies, capturing customer requirements, solutioning, and costing.

Oversee marketing initiatives such as campaigns, conferences, and roadshows to enhance brand visibility and recall.

Manage demand generation, maintain strong customer relationships, and monitor competitor activities.

Handle forecasting, billing, MIS, CRM, reporting, budgeting, and financial tracking.

Develop account plans, prepare proposals and presentations, and organize customer events.

Navigate legal terms and conditions, along with risk assessments.
- Collaborate closely with various internal teams including executive leadership, delivery, and sales to drive exponential account growth.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
-
Minimum 5 years' experience as a Key Account Manager or in a similar role within an IT services or consulting company.

At least 8 years of experience working with GCCs of Life Sciences/Pharmaceutical clients within IT services/consulting, with solid knowledge of industry regulations and compliance.

Proven ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders at all organizational levels, including executive and C-suite.

Strong technical sales expertise with a focus on customer-centric solutions involving cloud, data, and artificial intelligence.

Deep understanding of the Life Sciences industry and its specific domain.

Exceptional listening, communication, and presentation skills.

Demonstrated experience in contract negotiation.

Proficient in forecasting and tracking account performance metrics such as quarterly sales and annual forecasts.

Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build strong relationships across all organizational levels.
