We are hiring Sr. Channel sales manager - Agency Commercial for Rajkot & Vadodara location.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Development

  • Identify and recruit new agents specializing in commercial lines (e.g., property, liability, marine, engineering).
  • Train and support agents to generate commercial insurance business.
  • Drive sales through agency partners by providing product knowledge and sales tools.

2. Client & Agent Relationship Management

  • Build strong relationships with agents and key commercial clients.
  • Assist agents in understanding client needs and recommending suitable insurance solutions.
  • Support agents in preparing quotes, proposals, and presentations.

3. Policy Servicing & Support

  • Ensure timely issuance and renewal of commercial policies.
  • Coordinate with underwriting, claims, and operations teams to resolve agent or client issues.
  • Monitor policy performance, persistency, and loss ratios.

4. Compliance & Reporting

  • Ensure adherence to IRDAI regulations and internal compliance standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of agent performance, client interactions, and sales activities.
  • Provide regular reports to management on business performance and market trends.

Key Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products (fire, engineering, liability, marine, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to train and motivate agents.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and insurance CRM systems.
  • Analytical mindset with a customer-centric approach.
