Position Summary:-

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Executive with proven sales expertise and specialized experience in the translation industry. The ideal candidate will leverage their 5+ years of sales experience and 2+ years of translation industry knowledge to drive revenue growth, expand our client base, and strengthen market position.

Key Responsibilities Business Development & Sales:-

  • Identify, prospect, and acquire new clients across various industries including automotive, legal, financial services, healthcare, technology, and pharmaceutical sectors

  • Generate qualified sales leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, trade shows, and digital marketing channels

  • Develop and manage comprehensive sales pipeline with accurate revenue forecasting and reporting

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets with demonstrable KPIs

  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities.

Client Relationship Management:-

  • Build and maintain long-term strategic relationships with key clients and decision-makers

  • Serve as primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring exceptional client satisfaction

  • Understand client requirements and collaborate with internal teams to propose tailored translation solutions

  • Manage client expectations while consulting on best practices and industry standards

  • Conduct regular business reviews to evaluate cooperation status and identify expansion opportunities.

Sales Process Management:-

  • Prepare, present, and deliver compelling proposals and quotations to prospective clients

  • Lead sales meetings and presentations with C-level executives and key stakeholders

  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to achieve mutually beneficial agreements

  • Follow up on quotations and convert them into actual projects

  • Coordinate with project management teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

Strategic Planning & Reporting:-

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans aligned with company growth objectives

  • Monitor and analyze sales metrics, market trends, and competitive landscape

  • Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management

  • Participate in sales strategy development and business planning initiatives

  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions.

Required Qualifications Experience Requirements:-

  • Minimum 5 years of proven sales experience with consistent track record of meeting/exceeding targets

  • Minimum 2 years of experience specifically in translation, localization, or language services industry

  • Demonstrated success in B2B sales, preferably in service-based industries

  • Experience managing complete sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure

  • Proven ability to secure and maintain high-value enterprise accounts

Education & Certifications:-

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, International Business, or related field

  • Advanced degree (MBA) preferred but not mandatory

  • Professional sales certifications (e.g., Certified Sales Professional) are advantageous.

Industry Knowledge:-

  • Deep understanding of translation and localization industry dynamics, trends, and competitive landscape

  • Knowledge of translation technologies, CAT tools, and industry-standard processes

  • Familiarity with various translation specializations (legal, medical, technical, financial, marketing)

  • Understanding of localization workflows, quality assurance processes, and project management methodologies

Essential Skills & Competencies Sales & Business Development Skills:-

  • Prospecting & Lead Generation: Expert ability to identify and qualify potential clients through multiple channels

  • Negotiation & Deal Closing: Strong negotiation skills with proven track record of closing high-value deals

  • Pipeline Management: Proficiency in managing complex sales pipelines using CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.)

  • Revenue Forecasting: Ability to provide accurate sales forecasts and performance analytics

  • Account Management: Expertise in managing and growing existing client relationships

Communication & Interpersonal Skills:-

  • Excellent Verbal Communication: Fluent English with exceptional presentation and public speaking abilities

  • Written Communication: Strong proposal writing, email communication, and documentation skills

  • Active Listening: Ability to understand client needs and provide consultative solutions

  • Cross-cultural Communication: Experience working with international clients and multicultural teams

  • Foreign Language Skills: Additional language proficiency is highly advantageous.

Technical & Analytical Skills:-

  • CRM Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Customer Relationship Management systems

  • Data Analysis: Ability to analyze sales metrics, market data, and performance indicators

  • MS Office Suite: Expert proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Word for presentations and reporting

  • Digital Marketing: Understanding of online lead generation, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and social media platforms

  • Market Research: Strong research and analytical skills for competitive intelligence.
