About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and impact-driven Business Development Manager (CSR Focus) to lead our efforts in building partnerships with corporates, NGOs, and institutions through CSR initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of CSR laws, compliance frameworks, and funding mechanisms in India, and should be adept at identifying, pitching, and managing CSR-funded projects.

This role is 70% CSR-driven (fundraising, partnerships, and CSR law knowledge) and 30% general business development (client acquisition, relationship management, and growth strategy).

Key Responsibilities

CSR-Focused (70%)

  • Identify, build, and manage partnerships with corporates, foundations, and CSR wings of organizations.
  • Map CSR opportunities aligned with our sustainability and social impact objectives.
  • Pitch CSR projects effectively to decision-makers, preparing proposals, concept notes, and presentations.
  • Stay updated on CSR regulations, reporting requirements, and government guidelines (Companies Act, Schedule VII, CSR Rules).
  • Design customized CSR solutions in line with client mandates and compliance needs.
  • Build long-term relationships with CSR heads, sustainability officers, and donor organizations.
  • Track CSR fund allocations, submission deadlines, and ensure project reporting & impact assessments are aligned with funders' requirements.

Business Development (30%)

  • Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and markets for Earthfit Solutions.
  • Generate leads and manage the sales pipeline for non-CSR clients as well.
  • Support brand-building activities through events, exhibitions, and networking platforms.
  • Negotiate and close business deals ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams for proposal development, pricing, and service delivery.

Qualifications & Skills

  • MBA / Master's degree in Business Development, Social Work, Sustainability, or related fields.
  • 3–7 years of experience in CSR fundraising, corporate partnerships, or business development.
  • Strong knowledge of CSR compliance in India (Companies Act, Schedule VII, CSR amendments, reporting norms).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and networking skills to pitch CSR projects convincingly.
  • Proven track record of closing CSR partnerships or managing donor relations.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to link CSR opportunities to business and sustainability goals.
  • Self-motivated, target-oriented, and comfortable in a client-facing role.
