Role Overview
As a Sales Intern – Business Development, you will play a key role in identifying potential clients, engaging with business owners, and supporting the sales pipeline. You will learn the art of consultative selling, develop communication skills, gain hands-on business exposure, and work directly with startup founders.
This internship is the first step toward a full-time role in Sales, Client Consulting, or Startup Strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Outreach: Call, follow-up, and engage with potential leads provided by the company.
- Client Communication: Understand client requirements and effectively communicate CapEasy's services.
- Lead Qualification: Help convert leads into scheduled meetings or qualified business opportunities.
- Market Research: Research startups, industries, founders, and current market trends to identify prospects.
- CRM Management: Update and maintain lead and client interactions in CRM under team guidance.
- Reporting: Prepare daily and weekly outreach reports to track progress and performance.
Requirements
- Pursuing or completed Bachelor's degree (BBA, BCom, MBA, or related fields preferred)
- Strong communication skills in English & Hindi
- Confident, proactive, and eager to learn
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment
- Basic knowledge of startups / business services is a plus (not mandatory)
