About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and driven
Sales Development Manager
to lead and scale our SDR team. You will play a key role in developing strategies to generate leads, drive pipeline growth, and ensure the success of our sales initiatives targeting global markets, especially the
US
and
UK
.
You'll have developed your sales experience within a technology product like ERP systems, CRMS or Accounting / HR software.
This role requires a combination of strategic planning, leadership, and hands-on execution to build a high-performing SDR team that thrives in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership:
Build, manage, and mentor a team of SDRs, ensuring individual and team goals are met.
- Strategy Development:
Design and implement outbound lead generation strategies to identify new business opportunities.
- Performance Monitoring:
Track and analyze team performance metrics, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Market Outreach:
Oversee outreach activities targeting clients in the
UK
and
US
markets via calls, emails, and other channels.
- Collaboration:
Work closely with Business Development Directors and other sales leaders to ensure seamless pipeline management.
- Process Optimization:
Establish best practices for lead generation, qualification, and CRM management.
- Training & Development:
Develop onboarding and training programs to equip SDRs with the skills needed for success.
- Reporting:
Generate detailed performance reports, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Client Engagement:
Support SDRs in conducting product demonstrations, handling objections, and managing initial stages of the sales cycle.
About You:
- Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience in sales or business management.
- 3+ years of experience in sales, with at least 1 year in a people manager role managing SDRs or BDRs.
- Proven success in outreach and lead generation targeting
UK
and
US
clients.
- Experience selling tech products, particularly in the retail technology sector, is a strong advantage.
- Expereince selling to customers in US and EU is a must.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Expertise in objection handling, pipeline management, and lead qualification.
- A proactive, self-motivated approach with a focus on achieving results.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
