Role Overview: As an Assistant Manager - Procurement at Simpleenergy, you will be responsible for handling both operational and strategic procurement activities. Your role will involve coordinating with suppliers, managing purchase orders, and ensuring timely delivery of components and materials. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with sourcing engineers, the quality team, and the project team to meet production and new product development requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Coordinate with suppliers and manage purchase orders - Ensure timely delivery of components and materials - Work with sourcing engineers, quality team, and project team to support production and new product development - Utilize domain knowledge in EV Mechanical Parts and Electrical & Electronics Parts for material planning and maintaining optimum inventory of Direct Material (DM) parts - Prepare monthly plans for supplier parts and ensure parts availability at stores as per the plan - Coordinate with suppliers to standardize packing standards - Monitor supplier parts receipt daily, maintain proper documentation, and support backflushing of parts - Track BOM periodically, avoid non-moving stock, and ensure timely adherence to data entry in ERP/Excel - Sustain a safe workplace by following all PPE and safety protocols and implementing Kaizens to eliminate abnormalities in store operations - Build cordial relations with store customers and suppliers to ensure a cheerful workplace Qualifications Required: - Minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement - Diploma or Bachelor's degree - Exposure to problem-solving techniques - Knowledge of ERP systems - Proficiency in interpersonal skills, negotiation skills, 5S, and PDCA - Ability to generate and implement cost-saving ideas Additional Details: Omit this section as no additional details of the company are present in the job description.,
