Regional Sales Manager

· Sales Leadership: Lead and manage sales activities within the South region to achieve company sales targets and revenue goals. Develop and execute regional sales strategies to drive business growth.
· Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and strategic accounts in the food, beverage, and nutraceutical sectors. Identify new business opportunities and maximize existing customer value.
· Market Analysis: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and emerging opportunities in the ingredients market. Provide feedback to senior management to help shape product offerings and marketing strategies.
· Customer Solutions: Work closely with customers to understand their requirements and deliver tailored solutions. Provide technical support in collaboration with the technical and R&D teams, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
· Sales Forecasting & Reporting: Develop accurate sales forecasts and reports for the region. Track sales performance against goals, analyse results, and take corrective actions as needed. Regularly report progress to senior management.
· New Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the region. Participate in trade shows, conferences, and industry events to network and promote the company's product portfolio.
· Pricing & Contract Negotiation: Manage pricing strategies, negotiate contracts, and work closely with the finance team to ensure profitability. Ensure compliance with company pricing policies and contractual terms.
· Team Management: Provide guidance and support to the regional sales team (if applicable), ensuring alignment with company objectives and fostering a high-performance culture. Coach and develop sales representatives to improve their skills and performance.
Required Skill & Qualifications -
· Education: Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Food Science, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
· Experience: Minimum of 8 years of sales experience in the ingredients, food, beverage, or nutraceutical industries, with at least 2 years in a leadership or regional sales management role.
· Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the ingredients market, including trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
· Sales Expertise: Proven track record of achieving sales targets, managing key accounts, and driving new business in a competitive market.
· Leadership Skills: Experience in leading and developing high-performing sales teams. Ability to inspire and motivate team members to achieve individual and collective goals.
· Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and effectively present solutions to customers and senior management.
· Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address challenges and find innovative solutions.
· Travel: Willingness to travel extensively within the South India region.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹40, ₹70,000.00 per month
