Job Title: Business Development
Location: Lower Parel, Mumbai
Reports To: Business Development Manager / Director
Job Overview:
The Business Development Executive will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strategies for the same, building strong customer relationships, and driving sales growth. The role requires market research, client acquisition, and maintaining long-term partnerships with key accounts to achieve sales targets and expand the company's market presence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in industrial, automotive, and commercial filtration markets.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships with OEMs, distributors, and end-users.
- Conduct market research to identify customer needs, industry trends, and competitor activities.
- Promote and present the company's filtration products and solutions to potential clients.
- Prepare and deliver sales proposals, quotations, and contracts.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Collaborate with internal teams (sales support, technical, and logistics) to ensure seamless customer service.
- Participate in exhibitions, trade fairs, and industry events to expand the company's network and visibility.
- Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and updates to management.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong sales and negotiation skills with proven B2B sales experience.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of industrial products (preferably filters, filtration systems, or related components).
- Ability to understand technical specifications and explain them to clients.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in business development
- Experience in dealing with OEMs, industrial distributors, or large-scale buyers is an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.
