Role Overview

We are seeking a Service Coordinator (NAVCOM) to manage end-to-end client enquiries related to ship navigation and communication equipment. The role involves coordinating with vendors, preparing proposals, tracking job execution, and ensuring accurate documentation & billing. The ideal candidate will have marine services industry exposure, strong coordination skills, and technical understanding of NAVCOM systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle client enquiries related to marine navigation & communication systems.
  • Coordinate with vendors, gather quotations, and prepare client proposals.
  • Follow up with clients to convert proposals into confirmed service orders.
  • Track service execution and ensure timely receipt of reports from vendors.
  • Prepare re-billing files and coordinate with Accounts for invoicing.
  • Monitor and allocate incoming enquiries among the internal team.
  • Ensure smooth service execution and maintain proper documentation.

Qualifications & Skills

Education: Diploma in Electronics / Communication / Marine Engineering (or equivalent).

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in shipping / marine services industry, preferably NAVCOM.

  • Technical Knowledge:

  • Basic understanding of marine navigation & communication equipment.

  • Vendor coordination & proposal preparation.

  • Familiarity with billing/documentation workflows.

  • Tools: Proficiency in MS Office, Outlook, Microsoft Teams.

  • Strong communication skills (email, phone, virtual).
  • Ability to read technical documents & vendor quotations.
