Role & responsibilities

  1. Sales & Revenue Generation

  2. Achieve monthly/quarterly/yearly sales targets for the assigned area.

  3. Monitor sales performance and ensure growth in volume, revenue, and market share.

  4. Team Management

  5. Recruit, train, and guide Sales Officers/Executives under them.

  6. Motivate and monitor the field team to ensure productivity.

  7. Conduct regular meetings, performance reviews, and coaching sessions.

  8. Market Development

  9. Identify new markets, segments, and opportunities for growth.

  10. Expand distribution network by appointing new dealers, distributors, or retailers.

  11. Ensure proper product placement and visibility in the market.

  12. Channel & Relationship Management

  13. Build and maintain relationships with distributors, dealers, and key accounts.

  14. Resolve channel conflicts and ensure smooth supply chain operations.

  15. Negotiate trade terms, discounts, and schemes with channel partners.

  16. Planning & Strategy

  17. Develop area-specific sales strategies aligned with company objectives.

  18. Monitor competitor activities and share market intelligence with management.

  19. Plan promotional activities, campaigns, and product launches in the area.

  20. Reporting & Analysis

  21. Track sales data, stock levels, and outstanding payments.

  22. Prepare and submit periodic reports (daily/weekly/monthly) to senior management.

  23. Analyze sales trends and recommend corrective actions.

  24. Customer Focus

  25. Ensure customer satisfaction and address grievances quickly.

  26. Collect feedback on products, pricing, and services to improve offerings.
