Drive the daily front office operations within the resort, ensuring seamless guest experiences from arrival to departure while upholding high service standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Guest Services & Operations

  • Oversee check-in/check-out processes and ensure smooth guest arrivals and departures.
  • Handle guest inquiries, complaints, requests, and feedback promptly and professionally—enhancing overall satisfaction.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of resort amenities, room types, rates, and promotions.

2. Team Leadership & HR Management

  • Recruit, train, and mentor front office staff, including desk agents, bell staff, and concierge.
  • Prepare staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage while managing labor costs.
  • Conduct performance appraisals and promote growth through coaching and recognition.
  • Provide backup support to staff during peak times or absence.

3. Coordination & Communication

  • Collaborate closely with housekeeping, food & beverage, maintenance, and other departments to synchronize guest needs and services.
  • Participate in daily or weekly department leadership meetings to report on performance and discuss improvements.

4. Financial & System Oversight

  • Monitor front office controllable expenses to align with departmental budgets.
  • Utilize and oversee systems such as PMS (e.g., Opera, Protel), and streamline processes to boost efficiency TurijobsIndeed.

5. Guest Experience Enhancement

  • Uphold a guest-first mindset across all front office operations.
  • Ensure special services for VIPs and repeat guests are delivered in line with the resort's brand standards.

6. Operational Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to all resort policies, safety, health, and hygiene standards.

  • Track and analyze key fronts of performance: occupancy, average daily rate (ADR), and revenue per available room (RevPAR) GrabJobsIndeed.
  • Prepare periodic reports for senior management, highlighting performance insights and recommendations.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred GrabJobsIndeed.
  • Experience: 4–7 years in hotel/resort operations with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial front office role (aligning with similar resort roles in Lonavala) Indeed.
  • Skills:
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership abilities.

Compensation & Benefits
