Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead our efforts in expanding our Precast & Rebar (cast in place) engineering and detailing services within the UK market. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development, a deep understanding of Precast & Rebar (cast in place) engineering concepts, and a proven track record of building relationships with key stakeholders in relevant industries. This role will be pivotal in driving growth, fostering client relationships, and ensuring the successful delivery of our services.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Analysis:
Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape within the Precast / Rebar sector.
Analyze client needs and tailor services to meet market demands.
New Business Development:
Addition of new customers for Rebar & Precast detailing / engineering services with an aim to achieve the budgeted sales target.
Relationship Management:
Account management for some key existing customers.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry influencers.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and responsiveness.
Proposal Development:
Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to create compelling proposals and presentations that effectively communicate our value proposition.
Lead negotiations and close deals with prospective clients.
Collaboration:
Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns that effectively communicate our services.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure seamless execution of services and alignment with client expectations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing within the Precast Sales or related industries.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and comfortable working independently as well as in a team environment.
