
Business Development Manager

We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our sales & growth team. The ideal candidate will drive new business opportunities, build and nurture client relationships, expand market presence, and contribute to revenue growth. The role involves both strategic planning and hands-on execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, research, and develop new business opportunities—targeting potential clients in industries suited to our ERP & custom software products.
- Generate qualified leads via networking, cold outreach (calls/emails), industry events, partnerships, etc.
- Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and pitches to prospective clients; align solutions to client needs.
- Develop & execute BD strategy and sales plans to meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Maintain a strong understanding of GwayERP's products/modules (Finance, HR, Supply Chain, CRM, BI etc.), value proposition, differentiators, pricing, and competitive landscape. (GwayERP)
- Negotiate contracts, prepare proposals, and close deals.
- Collaborate with marketing for lead generation; work with product / delivery teams to ensure client requirements are met.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing clients; ensure high customer satisfaction and retention.
- Monitor market trends, industry developments, competitor activities; provide feedback internally to refine offerings.
- Report on sales performance metrics, forecasts, pipeline, and opportunities to senior management.
Preferred / Additional
- Experience with low/no-code platforms and AI-enhanced enterprise tools helpful.
- Familiarity with multiple industries like manufacturing, construction, healthcare, logistics, retail, etc.
- Prior exposure to international sales / cross-border clients.
- Experience with subscription / SaaS pricing models.
- Ability to contribute to product feedback / roadmap based on client inputs.
