Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and result-driven Sales Executive to oversee Modern Trade (MT) in Mumbai. The ideal candidate should have 2 years of experience in sales and business development within the FMCG or consumer goods industry. This role requires a strategic mindset to drive sales growth, build strong relationships with retailers and distributors, and enhance brand presence across multiple sales channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth in Modern Trade.
  • Manage and expand the existing distribution network while onboarding new retail partners and distributors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including retailers, distributors,
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with marketing and supply chain teams to ensure product availability, visibility, and promotional execution.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets as per business objectives.
  • Drive negotiations with key accounts and modern trade partners for better margins and shelf space.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and compliance with trade regulations.
  • Train and mentor sales representatives to enhance overall sales performance.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's/master's degree in business administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, preferably in FMCG, Food sales or retail.
  • Strong understanding of Modern Trade.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Data-driven approach with proficiency in sales analytics and reporting tools.
  • Self-motivated, result-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Willingness to travel extensively within Mumbai.
