Role Overview
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will be on the front lines of our growth engine. Your job is to identify high-potential prospects, initiate meaningful conversations, and qualify leads for our enterprise sales team. You'll play a critical role in expanding Breathe ESG's reach and shaping how companies think about sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
● Prospecting: Research and identify key decision-makers across target industries.
● Outreach: Execute high-volume outbound activities (email, LinkedIn, cold calling) to generate interest.
● Lead Qualification: Conduct discovery calls to understand prospect needs and determine fit.
● Handoff: Book qualified meetings and pass leads to the enterprise sales team.
● CRM Management: Maintain clean records in the CRM; track activities and update lead statuses.
● Collaboration: Work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to refine messaging and improve conversion rates.
● Follow-up: Nurture leads through multi-touch outreach and timely engagement.
● Feedback Loop: Share insights from prospect interactions with the product and marketing teams.
● Learning: Stay up to date with ESG trends, customer pain points, and platform capabilities.
Ideal Candidate
● Experience: 1–3 years in a B2B sales or lead generation role, preferably in SaaS or climate-tech.
● Strong Communicator: Clear, concise, and persuasive—whether via phone, email, or chat.
● Driven & Curious: Self-motivated, hungry to learn, and excited about solving sustainability challenges.
● Organized: Can manage multiple leads and tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
● Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using CRMs (e.g., HubSpot), LinkedIn, and prospecting tools.
● Team Player: Willing to collaborate, take feedback, and support others.
