Fortran Steel was incepted in 1992 by Mr. Gopal Parekh, to manufacture and export a wide array of hot rolled and structural steel products. Hence, we approach our manufacturing process from a customer's point of view so that our clients receive the best. We ensure all the raw material used is of world class quality and the technology used in the production process adheres to worldwide norms.

We offer free sampling for our clients who look forward to check and then buy the product. This enables us to prove the quality of the product.

We offer a wide range of hot rolled and structural steel products to our global clients. Our products are manufactured from superior quality mild steel billets which are procured from the leading vendors in the market. Our wide spectrum of products includes Mild Steel Bars, Mild Steel Wires, CO2 Wires, Sheet, Stainless Steel, Alloy Steel and Plates.

Primary Duties / Responsibilities:

Sales Support & Coordination:

Assist the sales team with order processing, quotations, customer follow-ups, and coordination with internal departments.

Handle pre-sales and post-sales communication with clients and agents (domestic and overseas).

Maintain updated records of orders, dispatches, stock, and customer interactions.

Documentation & Compliance:

Prepare and manage commercial documents such as proforma invoices, purchase orders, dispatch instructions, packing lists, export documentation (BL, COO, LC documents), etc.

Coordinate with CHA, freight forwarders, and transporters for timely shipments and clearances.

Client Relationship Management:

Act as a point of contact for customers for order updates, queries, and complaint resolution.

Assist in developing new clients and maintaining strong relationships with existing ones.

Reporting & Analysis:

Maintain sales reports, order tracking sheets, and MIS for both domestic and export business.

Provide weekly/monthly updates on order status, sales pipeline, and pending payments.

Education Qualification

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, International Trade, or related field.

Work Experience requirements:

2–5 years of experience in sales coordination, preferably in the steel or heavy industrial sector

Any specialized skills/ knowledge / abilities

Good understanding of long steel products (Pipes, TMT, Structures, Wire Rods, Wires) and their applications.

Knowledge of export documentation and logistics is a must.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, ERP software (preferred).

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Salary Range:

25K - 30K PM
