We are looking for a skilled Chef to join our team at ITC Grand, with 2-5 years of experience in Indian/Tandoor Cuisine. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cooking and a passion for delivering exceptional culinary experiences.

Roles and Responsibility

  • Prepare and cook a variety of Indian dishes, including tandoor specialties.
  • Maintain high levels of food quality and presentation standards.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Develop and implement new recipes and menu ideas to enhance the dining experience.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Manage inventory of ingredients and supplies, minimizing waste and optimizing costs.

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Chef in an Indian/Tandoor restaurant or similar establishment.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian cuisine, including tandoor cooking techniques and ingredients.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to maintain high levels of attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils, and the ability to use them safely and efficiently.
  • Adaptability to changing situations and priorities, with a flexible and positive attitude.
