Manager, Finance Systems

The Finance Team includes Accounting, Finance Business Partnership, Finance Operations, Financial Systems, Internal Audit, Investor Relations, Tax, and Treasury teams. Together, the team partners with leadership to provide insights, information, and guidance to make strategic and operational decisions, inform investors about our business model and progress, and ensure the company is financially healthy and consistently meeting our reporting obligations.

We're looking for a Manager, Finance Systems & Transformation to join Snap Inc.

What you'll do:

• Manage automation projects by handling intake, design, data management and output.

• Work with broader team to build out data structures and management to ensure completeness and accuracy with analytics and visualization

• Partner with IT to develop system requirements, establish timelines and ensure on time completion of projects

• Create and maintain documentation that includes design, requirements and data schemes

• Help automate everyday tasks related to operational needs and month end close

• Design and implement reports and solutions to automate business processes

Minimum qualifications:

• 6-8 years of experience in data analytics and report building

• BS/BA degree in Business, Information Science or related field or equivalent years of experience

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.

• Strong proficiency in SQL or Python for writing and optimizing complex queries.

• Experience developing dashboards and visualizations using Tableau or Looker

• Process optimization experience using Alteryx.

• Ability to learn new tools and investigate systems.

• Capability to prioritize tasks, develop roadmaps, and collaborate cross-functionally on complex projects.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Passion for developing automation and improving efficiency.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Finance Systems (e.g., Oracle).

• Strong problem-solving, communication, and execution skills with the ability to adapt to complex and evolving situations and transfer knowledge.

• Proactive and self-motivated with the capacity to work independently and lead meetings.

• Ability to quickly build credibility, trust, and respect across all organizational levels, fostering teamwork.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (Google Slides), for relationship building and trust development throughout the organization.

• Meticulous attention to detail for project status reporting, issue/resolution tracking, and risk management.
