Senior Analyst, Finance Systems

The Finance Team includes Accounting, Finance Business Partnership, Finance Operations, Financial Systems, Internal Audit, Investor Relations, Tax, and Treasury teams. Together, the team partners with leadership to provide insights, information, and guidance to make strategic and operational decisions, inform investors about our business model and progress, and ensure the company is financially healthy and consistently meeting our reporting obligations.

We're looking for a Senior Analyst, Finance Systems & Transformation to join Snap Inc.

What you'll do:

• Assist with overcoming challenges in data management, analytics and visualization

• Create and maintain documentation that includes design, requirements and data schemes

• Develop processes and solutions to aggregate data and present it in a way that meets business needs for reporting

• Help automate everyday tasks related to operational needs and month end close

• Help team with data discovery and develop a process for streamlining reporting and data delivery

• Design and implement reports and solutions to automate business processes

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Excellent communication and problem solving skills, with high attention to detail

• Strong knowledge with SQL or Python and writing/optimizing complex queries

• Experience optimizing processes via Alteryx

• Experience creating dashboards and other visualizations using Tableau or Looker

• Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment

• Passion for building automation and efficiency

• Ability to learn new tools and dig into systems

• Knowledge of Oracle ERP a plus

Minimum Qualifications:

• BS/BA degree in Business, Information Science or related field or equivalent years of experience

• 4-5 years experience in data analytics, reporting building

Preferred Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Google sheets and ability to build macros

• Experience in Finance Systems such as Oracle and SAP a plus

• ETL experience a plus

• Knowledge of Finance and Accounting
