Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated
Senior Business Development Executive (Inside Sales)
to spearhead lead generation and direct sales initiatives for the Client's services within the banking and financial services industry. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of the banking ecosystem, a passion for consultative selling, and a proven track record of exceeding targets. This role requires expertise in deal closure, relationship building, and team leadership to drive measurable business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Prospecting:

  • Identify, generate, and nurture leads in the banking and financial services space via cold calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach, and other outbound techniques.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to understand client needs and identify key decision-makers.
  • Create targeted strategies to engage with banks, fintechs, and financial institutions.
  • Build and manage a qualified sales pipeline for cards, payments, and digital transformation services.

Direct Sales & Deal Closure:

  • Own the end-to-end sales cycle including product positioning, negotiation, and closing deals.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders for proposal creation, pricing, and solution fitment.
  • Deliver compelling presentations and demos tailored to the needs of CXOs and other decision-makers.

Target Achievement:

  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for lead generation, meetings scheduled, and revenue closed.
  • Align personal and team sales efforts with the Client's strategic growth objectives.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead and mentor a team of Inside Sales Executives by setting goals, KPIs, and conducting performance reviews.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performance sales culture.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Engage with senior stakeholders (CXOs, VPs, Directors) to build trust and understand strategic goals.
  • Ensure smooth transitions to senior sales or delivery teams with consistent follow-ups.
  • Position the Client as a trusted partner for digital transformation in banking.

Collaboration & Strategy:

  • Work closely with marketing, sales, and pre-sales teams to execute outreach campaigns.
  • Provide market feedback to refine sales messaging and positioning.
  • Contribute to the ongoing evolution of the Client's go-to-market strategy.

CRM & Reporting:

  • Accurately log all sales activities and interactions in Zoho CRM (or equivalent).
  • Prepare and present dashboards to track KPIs including lead conversion, pipeline health, and closure rates.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years in inside sales, direct sales, or business development, ideally in BFSI or IT solutions.
  • Proven ability in client acquisition, deal negotiation, and closing.
  • Strong understanding of banking systems, cards, payments, and fintech trends.
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills; ability to confidently present to senior stakeholders.
  • Proficient in CRMs (Zoho, Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales productivity tools.
  • Target-driven self-starter who thrives in fast-paced environments.
