Job Purpose:

The Platform Infrastructure Lead will oversee the overall infrastructure design, implementation, and management of the iGOT Karmayogi platform. The role involves documenting, analyzing, and optimizing platform architecture in alignment with the organizations strategic vision, ensuring scalability, availability, and security of mission-critical systems. The individual will provide technical leadership to maintain a robust and efficient digital infrastructure supporting the Government of India's capacity-building initiatives.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain iGOT's technology infrastructure including servers, cloud services, networks, and storage systems.
  • Define platform infrastructure architecture, roadmap, and long-term scalability strategies.
  • Ensure system availability, performance optimization, and adherence to cybersecurity standards.
  • Lead infrastructure troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and minimize downtime.
  • Establish and enforce security protocols and data protection measures.
  • Mentor a team of infrastructure engineers and technical support staff to ensure operational excellence.
  • Evaluate and manage vendor and service provider relationships, including SLA compliance and contract negotiation.
  • Conduct infrastructure capacity planning and forecast technology requirements.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and implement best practices for system efficiency and modernization.

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of IT infrastructure experience, with at least 3 years in government or public sector IT projects.
  • 6+ years of cloud infrastructure management experience including deployment, monitoring, and security of cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Proven experience in designing and managing enterprise-grade, large-scale systems.
  • Hands-on exposure to e-Governance or large-scale digital transformation projects.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure design, cloud architecture, cybersecurity, and DevOps practices.
  • Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Educational Qualifications:

  • B.E./B.Tech, M.E./M.Tech, MCA, or equivalent degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Good academic record from a recognized university/institution.
  • Certifications preferred: AWS/Azure Cloud Architect, TOGAF, ITIL, PMP, or equivalent.
