Responsibilities:

On time salary payment

  • Maintenance of attendance register in a proper manner
  • Preparing the salary statement
  • Getting the salary statement approved by MD one day before the salary date

Employee Welfare measures

  • Ensuring all employees get the benefits of ESI & PF
  • Ensuring that quality food is provided to all employees at the appropriate time
  • Providing neat and clean accommodation for employees
  • Inspecting the accommodation on a periodical basis to ensure that the place is maintained properly and relationship with landlord is smooth
  • Providing 3 sets of uniform every year
  • Providing basic amenities related to employee welfare at work place (including safety measures)
  • To receive employee complaints and handle it through the response resolution mechanism

Fulfilling statutory obligations

  • Calculating ESI & PF payable on a monthly basis
  • Filing ESI & PF return on a monthly basis
  • Licensing formalities related to trade and shop and establishment
  • Paying ESI & PF dues to respective Govt depts on time.

Filling the org chart

  • Call for interviews based on vacancies in org chart
  • Screening the candidates based on JD
  • Presenting the screened candidates to the CEO of the company
  • Providing appointment letter for appointed candidates
  • Verifying with the HODs best fit status of employees after probation period
  • Giving confirmation letter after probation period
  • Conduct exit interviews

Implementing the culture of the organization

  • Ensuring the policies related to the culture of the organization are educated to all the employees and appropriate trainings are provided
  • Taking feedback from respective HODs about the cultural best fit status of their respective employees once a month
  • Direct assessment for all employees to be done once in a year to ensure that culture is in place

Skills:

  • Ability to handle payroll software
  • Excel knowledge

Employee Welfare measures & fulfilling statutory obligations

  • Knowledge of ESI & PF
  • Ability to handle govt officials
  • Flair for hygiene and cleanliness
  • Ability to coordinate with agencies or real estate brokers to arrange for accommodation
  • Knowledge of trade and shop establishments license
  • Ability to listen to employee complaints and feedback with the sense of compassion and empathy
  • Legal knowledge to handle police complaints related to employee grievances (including sexual harassment)

Filling the org chart

  • Sourcing abilities for acquiring various types of employees
  • Ability to understand and follow the recruitment process
  • Linguistic skills

  • English – Written & Oral

  • Hindi - Oral
  • Tamil - Oral

  • Knowledge of basic MS Office

  • Ability to understand Org chart, accountability matrix and JD
