Key Roles and Responsibilities

A. Business Partnering:

  • Develop and implement HR strategy in line with annual business objectives.
  • Recommend long-term strategic plans and assess the impact on Human Resource for future business direction.
  • Coordinate and direct operations to achieve business KPIs.
  • Ensure application of all governance requirements at work units.

B. Manpower Planning, Development, and Talent Retention Management:

  • Ensure right talent is available to deliver business results.
  • Translate business objectives and plans into future HR resource needs, skill gaps, and create a manpower plan.
  • Design and manage key support systems – succession plans, mentoring schemes, coaching framework, induction, etc.
  • Monitor and administer recruitment processes and procedures.

C. Cultural Development, Change, and Communication:

  • Action planning and driving major change initiatives like World Class Manufacturing, Future of Work, etc.
  • Lead initiatives and projects aiming for site integration and collaborative work along the extended supply chain.
  • Take the lead in assessing and developing a continuously performing culture in the unit.
  • Provide communication support, communication forums, team briefings, newsletters, etc.

D. Learning Management:

  • Specify learning objectives, assess the effectiveness of learning options, organize, design, and develop learning events like out-bounds, distance learning, mentors, tutors, etc.
  • Evaluate learning – competency mapping and 'Skill-will' assessment.
  • Effectively utilize performance data/skill-will matrix for workmen and staff as a data source to identify training needs.

E. Performance Improvement and Management:

  • Monitor PDP system for executives and workers.
  • Ensure compliance to quality requirements, processes, and timings.

F. Managing Employee Relations & Public Relations:

  • Harmonious and productive employee relations.
  • Handling the Union.
  • Establishing communication channels with the grassroots.

G. CSR Projects:

  • Lead site-level execution of 'Prabhat' – Our program to develop sustainable ecosystems and communities.

Required Skills and Qualifications

A manufacturing professional with experience in factory business partnering, preferably from FMCG/FMCD industry.
