As a Sales HOD (Machine Sales Division) at TAKNEK, you will play a pivotal role in driving our business growth in the Middle East, India, Europe and US Market. Your primary responsibility will be to promote and sell our automation solutions to potential clients while maintaining strong relationships with existing customers & contractors. You will leverage your technical expertise in control panels, robotic systems, PLCs, and SCADA to understand client needs and provide tailored solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Middle East, India, Europe and US market, including prospecting, lead generation, and networking. To realize annual sales targets for construction, manufacturing, and warehouse industry customers in the MENA region.
- Solution Selling: Understand client requirements and present customized automation solutions to address their specific needs, leveraging TAKNEK's expertise in controls works, special purpose machines, tending, SCADA, and material handling systems.
- Technical Consultation: Provide technical guidance and support to clients regarding Panel building, control systems, PLCs, SCADA, and related technologies. Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure solutions meet client specifications. Interaction with internal and external customers regarding product recommendations, service requirements, product development, and quality documents
- Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, serving as their primary point of contact for all sales-related inquiries and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand TAKNEK's market presence in the Middle East, India, Europe and US. To increase brand awareness and promote the product and service portfolio with customers in the allocated region.
- Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify growth opportunities and potential threats.
- Sales Team Engagement: Lead, mentor, and motivate the Business Development team to achieve sales and revenue targets.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, E&TC, Electronics or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in sales engineering, preferably in the automation industry and Hands on experience in SPM Machine sales.
- Strong technical knowledge of panel building or control systems, PLCs, SCADA, and industrial automation.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Fluency in English is required; Arabic language proficiency is a plus.
