Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Sales to lead and scale our sales efforts in the education sector. This individual will drive revenue growth, lead a high-performing sales team, and establish strategic relationships with key stakeholders in the education ecosystem (schools, colleges, universities, government bodies, and edtech partners).

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy & Planning:

Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue and growth targets.

Identify new market opportunities, segments, and strategic partnerships.

Team Leadership:

Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team across regions.

Set KPIs, monitor performance, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Client Relationship Management:

Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in educational institutions and government bodies.

Lead negotiations and close high-value deals.

Market Intelligence:

Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to inform sales strategy.

Provide regular reports and forecasts to the executive team.

Collaboration & Cross-functional Leadership:

Work closely with marketing, product, operations, and customer success teams to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term value delivery.

Represent the sales function in leadership meetings and contribute to company-wide planning.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.

Minimum 8–10 years of experience in sales, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within the education sector or edtech.

Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.

Strong understanding of education systems, buying processes, and stakeholder management.

Willingness to travel as needed.

Preferred Experience:

Experience selling to K-12, higher education, or government education departments.

Background in SaaS or tech-based educational solutions is a strong plus.

Familiarity with CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot) and data-driven sales management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹45, ₹60,000.00 per month
