Key Accounts Manager – Institutional Sales – Bangalore
Location:

Roles & Responsibilities
- Drive Institutional Sales
: Lead and grow sales for our premium luxury beverage portfolio, with a strong focus on
institutional channels
. This includes
on-trade accounts
such as 5-star hotels, fine-dining restaurants, premium bars, lounges, and clubs, as well as
off-trade accounts
like modern retail outlets, high-end liquor boutiques, and premium stores. - Build and Strengthen Relationships
: Establish, nurture, and manage long-term relationships with
key accounts, institutional buyers, distributors, and trade partners
. Ensure consistent engagement to drive loyalty and repeat business for the brand. - Brand Representation
: Act as the face of the brand in the institutional space—presenting with professionalism and confidence at client meetings, activations, tasting events, and industry networking forums. Ensure the brand is always positioned as a
luxury product of choice
. - Strategic Sales Growth
: Develop and implement sales strategies specifically tailored to
institutional clients
. Work on upselling and cross-selling opportunities, drive premium visibility, and achieve ambitious sales and distribution targets across Karnataka. - Market Presence & Travel
: Ensure strong market coverage by traveling extensively across Karnataka, with primary focus on
Bangalore and other key institutional hubs
. Maintain regular check-ins with accounts to strengthen partnerships and monitor performance. - Market Intelligence
: Stay ahead of market trends, competitor movements, and customer insights. Share actionable intelligence with management to refine strategies and maintain the brand's leadership position in the luxury beverage segment.
Looking For:
• 8–10 years of proven sales experience with exposure to both on-trade and off-trade channels.
• Strong network and established connections across Karnataka (especially Bangalore).
• Background in the liquor / beverages / hospitality / luxury brands industry preferred; FMCG experience will also be considered.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Well-groomed, presentable, and confident personality – able to represent a premium brand.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the state.
• Self-driven, ambitious, and comfortable working in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
