Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Sales Manager to lead our pump sales. Ideal candidates should have experience in industrial or mechanical equipment sales, preferably with pumps. Key responsibilities include team leadership, business development, client relationship management, and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and revenue targets.
- Build and maintain relationships with key clients, consultants, OEMs, and distributors.
- Monitor the activities of the sales team, including setting goals.
- Coordinate with R&D and production teams to align product offerings with market needs.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Set sales targets, forecast demand and regular reports for management.
- Monitoring competitor activity, market trends and customer needs.
- Collaborate with the marketing team for lead generation and brand positioning.
- Ensure compliance with commercial terms, pricing policies, and contract requirements.
Requirements:
- Any undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Business /Engineering or a related field.
- 10–15 years of experience in technical or industrial sales, preferably 3 years in pump sales.
- Strong technical understanding of pumps and pumping systems (Self-Priming, Centrifugal, Open well, Submersible, etc.).
- Excellent communication, negotiation and leadership skills.
- Proficiency with CRM tools and ERP systems.
