About the Job
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to join our team in Coimbatore for immediate recruitment. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader responsible for driving sales growth across multiple channels, including e-commerce, dealer networks, and B2B partnerships. This role is pivotal in managing the entire sales lifecycle, from forecasting and inventory management to team leadership and new market expansion. You will be instrumental in shaping the company's sales strategy, achieving ambitious targets, and establishing Caraltock as a leader in the premium home solutions market.
Key Responsibilities
Sales and Channel Management:
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to drive revenue across e-commerce, dealer networks, and B2B channels.
- Establish, manage, and nurture relationships with distributors and dealers, handling all negotiations, agreements, and ongoing performance management.
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities and sales channels for both existing and new product lines.
Inventory and Operations Management:
- Oversee finished goods inventory management across multiple storage locations to ensure optimal stock levels.
- Coordinate closely with the production team to align manufacturing schedules with sales forecasts and inventory requirements.
- Implement and manage robust sales forecasting processes for all channels to predict demand and minimize stock discrepancies.
Strategic Planning and Business Development:
- Develop and set ambitious yet achievable sales targets for yourself and your team.
- Spearhead the company's export strategy by researching and identifying the stringent standards and requirements for entry into international markets.
- Plan and execute strategies for launching new products and penetrating new geographic regions.
Team Leadership and Management:
- Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team based in Coimbatore, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Monitor team performance, providing regular feedback, training, and support to help them achieve their targets.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is highly preferred.
- Proven track record of success in a senior sales role, with extensive experience in managing e-commerce, dealer/distributor networks, and B2B sales.
- Strong experience in inventory management, production coordination, and sales forecasting.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies and meet or exceed targets.
- Natural leader with experience in managing and motivating a sales team.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Must be conversant with English, Tamil, Hindi, and at least one other regional language.
- Strategic thinker with a strong analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with export procedures and international quality standards is a significant advantage.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace and a working knowledge of task automation is preferable.
