Role & responsibilities

  • Channel Strategy: Develop and execute trade marketing strategies across GT, MT, and emerging channels to drive visibility, offtake, and ROI.
  • Shopper Activation: Design and implement in-store and point-of-sale activation plans tailored to short shelf life dynamics.
  • Sales & Category Alignment: Partner with Sales, Category and Marketing teams to ensure execution of category growth levers and promotional calendars.
  • Trade Promotions: Plan, monitor, and evaluate trade promotion effectiveness; optimise spends based on ROI analysis.
  • Distributor Engagement: Support distributor/channel partner capability building through tools, training, and visibility inputs.
  • Data & Insights: Leverage market and consumer data to build actionable insights for channels/customers.
  • Cross-Functional Projects: Collaborate with Supply Chain, Marketing, and Finance to align demand planning with promotional activities and reduce wastage.

Preferred candidate profile

  • MBA in Marketing or related field from a B-School & equivalent colleges.
  • ~5 years of FMCG (Short Shelf Life e.g. yogurt, dairy product) experience with experience in Trade Marketing preferred.
  • Exposure to perishable/short shelf-life categories preferred.
  • Strong analytical, execution, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
