Job Summary:
We are looking for a
Business Development Executive – GEM Portal Expert
who will be responsible for identifying and managing government tenders on the
GEM (Government e-Marketplace)
portal and other tendering platforms. The ideal candidate should have
at least 2 years of hands-on experience
with GEM portal operations, including end-to-end tender application processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Search, identify, and evaluate relevant tenders on
GEM and other government/third-party tender portals
. - Manage the
entire tendering process
including documentation, submission, follow-ups, and compliance requirements. - Maintain accurate records of submitted tenders and their statuses.
- Coordinate with internal teams (technical, finance, legal) for gathering required documents and inputs for tender submissions.
- Monitor tender alerts, corrigendums, and deadline reminders.
- Ensure timely submission of tenders with high attention to detail.
- Prepare and maintain MIS reports related to tender activities.
- Assist in vendor registration, product listing, catalog management, and price updates on the GEM portal.
Nice to Have (Not Mandatory):
- Knowledge or experience in
lead generation
and
email marketing
campaigns. - Familiarity with CRM tools or marketing automation platforms.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience
in GEM portal operations or similar tendering platforms. - Strong understanding of government procurement processes and documentation requirements.
- Proficiency in using online portals and basic computer tools (MS Excel, Word, etc.).
- Excellent attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tenders and meet tight deadlines.
