Roles and responsibilities:
We are seeking to employ a committed, self-motivated Regional Development Executive on a part-time consultancy basis to promote and sell our assessments in India.
You will be managing existing key accounts in the territory as well as identifying new opportunities, including within international schools and higher education institutions.
Working alongside our exam representatives in India, the RDE will:
- Present ABRSM exams and other products to senior decision makers at schools in the territory
- Identify new customers and follow up on all sales leads
- Identify opportunities for the recognition of ABRSM qualifications within conservatoires and universities
- Maintain a pipeline of new business and records using Microsoft Dynamics sales software
- Attend events and conferences
- Be an ambassador for the organisation and provide feedback about our products and services and the sector to colleagues at Head Office
Candidate profile:
This role would suit a self-motivated, autonomous candidate with a consultative sales approach. Similar experience of education or assessment sales is essential. Knowledge of ABRSM and its place in the music education sector is desirable. We are looking for someone based in Kerala who is willing to travel regularly for the role. The ideal candidate will be a native Malayalam speaker (or a C2 level speaker) and will speak English to B2 level.
This role is offered on a consultancy basis for 1 year initially, with an expectation that the role occupies c. 3 days per week.
An annual fee of 6,000 GBP is offered for the assignment, payable in equal monthly instalments.
An annual travel budget is available to support the role.
