Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role, based in Mumbai, for an Area Sales Manager specializing in the B2B travel industry. The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for identifying and acquiring new travel agent partners, maintaining and fostering relationships with existing clients, and achieving regional sales targets. The role involves conducting market research, promoting ETrav products and services, preparing sales reports, and collaborating closely with internal teams to ensure exceptional client service. Additionally, they will provide training and support to partners, monitor competitor activity, and develop growth strategies for their assigned territory.

Qualifications

  • Strong sales, negotiation, and business development skills, specifically in a B2B travel industry context
  • Proven relationship management and client retention abilities
  • Solid understanding of travel industry products, including airlines, hotels, and MICE services
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Market research, strategic planning, and analytical skills to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Tourism, or a related field
  • Prior experience in the travel or tourism industry is strongly preferred
