Factory Manager
to lead our operations with efficiency, compliance, and innovation.

Role Overview

The
Factory Manager
will oversee the entire manufacturing unit, ensuring smooth operations from production planning to final dispatch. The role requires a strong understanding of
nutraceutical / dietary supplement manufacturing processes
,
regulatory compliance
, and
team leadership
. You'll be responsible for optimizing plant performance while maintaining strict quality, safety, and cost efficiency standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day
    production operations
    to achieve manufacturing targets and timelines.
  • Ensure compliance with
    GMP, FSSAI, ISO, and international regulatory standards
    .
  • Collaborate with
    QA/QC, procurement, warehouse, and dispatch teams
    for seamless coordination.
  • Implement and monitor
    SOPs
    and process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce wastage.
  • Oversee
    equipment maintenance
    , utilities, and preventive maintenance programs.
  • Drive a strong culture of
    safety, quality, and accountability
    across all levels.
  • Prepare and review
    production reports, yield analysis, and cost metrics
    .
  • Support
    new product development
    and technology transfers in coordination with R&D.
  • Manage and mentor production staff to build a high-performing team.

Candidate Profile

  • Education:
    B.Pharm / M.Pharm / B.Sc / M.Sc (Chemistry, Food Technology, or related field)
  • Experience:
    3-8 years in nutraceutical, food supplement, or pharmaceutical manufacturing
  • Minimum 3–5 years in a
    supervisory or managerial
    role
  • Technical Skills:
  • Knowledge of
    GMP, HACCP, FSSAI, USFDA
    requirements
  • Strong in
    production planning, process optimization, and cost control
  • Hands-on experience in
    capsules, tablets, powders, and liquids
    preferred
  • Soft Skills:
    Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication abilities
