We are looking to hire a Sr Solar Design Engineer to join our enthusiastic and highly motivated team. Please note that this position is suitable for anyone having a minimum of 3 to 6 years of experience in the solar industry as Solar Designer.
Job Description
  • Designing of the Solar PV System for Rooftop & Ground Mounted on Helioscope, Aurora, Sighten (Everbright) and AutoCAD & other various supported Electrical equipment & selection of conduits including layouts & schematic diagrams and calculation of technical Sizing, BOM.
  • Technical scrutiny of bid enquiries BOQs for tender purpose
  • B. E. / B. Tech in Electrical/Power/Energy Engineering
  • 3 -5 years of total working experience in Solar Projects
  • 3-5 years of PV design engineering experience with utility scale solar PV systems. Preferably ranging in projects sized at 10 MW and up
  • Preparation/checking of design documents and drawings
  • Preparation of tentative BOQs after award of contract
  • Checking of equipment drawings and GTPs received from Vendor
  • Conducting site visits, support site team in project commissioning, witness tests at vendor s factory premises
  • Preparing and sending document transmittal letters for designs and drawings
  • Excellent knowledge of design and visualizations software such as AutoCAD, Electrical CAD or similar
  • Proficiency in site substation layout, electrical system design including load flow short circuit calculations, LV HV protection schemes, LV- HV relay settings, regulatory safety approvals, etc
  • Project management and supervision skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • 10 -20% traveling to site and vendor s places as when required
  • Working directly with and learning from senior team and company founders
  • Managing clients and running projects independently
  • Able to check site feasibility and provide the best suitable option for enhancing suitability

Salary: ₹25, ₹35,000.00 per month
