Sales Area Manager – India

Founded in 1992 by Bruno Vianello, its current President, TEXA is today one of the leading companies in the design, industrialization, and manufacturing of multi-brand diagnostic tools, exhaust gas analysers, vehicle air conditioning recharge stations, and remote diagnostics devices for cars, motorcycles, trucks, boats, and agricultural vehicles.
The latest frontier involves the development of Powertrain systems for hybrid and electric vehicles. In fact, in 2018, the e-Powertrain division was established, joining the two existing divisions - Garage Equipment and Telemobility - to design and produce inverters, vehicle control units, and electric motors aimed at the new sustainable mobility sector. Its clients include Lamborghini and other brands protected by industrial secrecy. All TEXA products are designed and manufactured in Italy, at the Monastier di Treviso plant.
Sales Area Manager – India:
TEXA is hiring a Sales Area Manager for the Indian market.
The selected candidate will be responsible for managing and developing TEXA's commercial activities in India, ensuring sales targets are met, expanding the distribution network, and strengthening the brand presence in the automotive aftermarket sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Management
Develop and implement sales strategies for the Indian market.
Monitor sales performance and propose corrective actions.
Manage commercial negotiations with distributor clients.
Market Development
Expand the network of local distributors and partners.
Analyze competitors and market dynamics.
Identify new business opportunities and market segments.
Maintain strong relationships with existing and strategic clients.
Participate in trade shows, events, and industry meetings.
Technical Support & Training
Coordinate technical training activities for distributors.
Collaborate with the HQ technical team for post-sales support.
Reporting & Communication
Prepare periodic reports for HQ.
Collaborate with HQ sales and marketing teams for local promotions.
Skills:
Technical: Knowledge of the automotive aftermarket and diagnostics.
Commercial: Negotiation skills, client management, business development.
Analytical: Sales data analysis, KPI tracking, forecasting.
Relational: Leadership, intercultural communication.
Education: High school diploma or university degree (preferably in economics or related fields).
Experience:
Minimum 5 years in international sales roles, preferably in the automotive aftermarket sector.
Familiarity with multicultural environments and Asian market dynamics.
Language: Fluent English and excellent command of the local language.
