Key Responsibilities1. Sales Achievement & Business Growth

  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets for the cigarette lighter product range.
  • Identify new business opportunities in retail, wholesale, and modern trade channels.
  • Conduct regular market visits to generate orders and increase retail coverage.

2. Distribution & Channel Management

  • Ensure continuous product availability across all outlets in the territory.
  • Coordinate with distributors to manage stock, credit cycles, and timely order fulfilment.
  • Ensure proper route planning and beat execution.

3. Merchandising & Market Execution

  • Ensure correct product display, visibility, and planogram execution at retail points.
  • Implement promotional schemes, retailer offers, and new product displays.
  • Track competitor pricing, promotions, and market activities.

4. Relationship Building

  • Maintain strong relationships with retailers, wholesalers, and distributors.
  • Educate retail staff about product features and benefits.
  • Resolve market complaints and address service issues promptly.

5. Reporting & Documentation

  • Prepare daily/weekly/monthly sales reports and submit to the Sales Manager.
  • Maintain market intelligence regarding competitor products, pricing, and trends.
  • Update beat plans, retailer lists, and distribution metrics regularly.

Qualifications & ExperienceEducation

  • Graduate in Business, Marketing, or any discipline (preferred).

Experience

  • 1–3 years of FMCG sales experience (cigarette lighters, accessories, or small consumer products preferred).
  • Experience handling distributors and retail networks.

Skills

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Good understanding of FMCG distribution and retail operations.
  • Ability to manage fieldwork independently.
  • Basic computer skills (Excel, MS Office, reporting apps).
  • Territory management and route planning expertise.
