
BDM / Business Development Manager

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development Manager to join
our Selling Water team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new
business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients and partners, and
driving growth within the real estate sector. The Business Development Manager will
play a key role in expanding the companys market presence, negotiating contracts, and
contributing to long-term success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Market Research & Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify
new opportunities in residential, commercial, and industrial real estate sectors.
Analyze competitors and market trends to inform business strategies.
• Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with
prospective clients, Selling Water agents, brokers, developers, and other
stakeholders.
• Lead Generation: Generate and qualify new leads through networking,
outreach, and other business development activities.
• Sales Strategy & Negotiation: Develop and implement effective sales
strategies to win new business, including preparing proposals, presentations, and
negotiating terms of contracts.
• Partnership Development: Identify and establish strategic partnerships with
developers, contractors, investors, and other real estate professionals to expand
the company 's reach.
• Project Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., marketing, legal,
and finance) to ensure smooth project execution, from initial negotiation to final
closing.
• Market Positioning: Help position the company as a leader in the market by
representing the business at industry events, networking functions, and
conferences.
• Reporting & Documentation: Prepare detailed reports and presentations for
senior management to assess business development activities and results.
Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and client interactions in the
CRM.
• Budget Management: Assist in developing and managing the business
development budget for marketing initiatives, lead generation activities, and
business expansion strategies.
Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration,
Marketing, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in business development or sales within the
real estate industry, with a proven track record of securing new business and
achieving sales targets.
• Skills:
o Strong understanding of the FMCG or Water market and industry trends.
o Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
o Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with clients and
industry professionals.
o Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
o Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
o High level of motivation and self-drive, with the ability to work
independently and as part of a team.
