Experience: 5 - 8 Years in Corporate Sales / Business Development (B2B)
Industry: Staffing/Recruitment Agencies Preferred (Recruitment Background is a must)
Position Description
The Business Development Manager will be accountable for driving business growth by overseeing the complete new customer acquisition cycle for clients while ensuring strong retention of existing clients. The role will primarily focus on promoting and expanding Prompt Personnel's core HR solutions, including Temporary staffing , Apprenticeship hiring, Managed services, and Permanent recruitment.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
- Achieve business development goals to drive company growth by acquiring new mandates and budgeted sales revenue targets.
- Identify potential/new clients in the target market – this would include market mapping, cold calling as well as making presentations to new clients, negotiating and closing leads generated either self or through marketing campaigns.
- Develop deeper relationships with existing clients, while focusing on increasing wallet share and average revenue per customer by cross-selling other products and services.
- Co-ordinating with other departments to ensure timely conversion of leads, on-time billing, addressing operational issues and customer grievance redressal in a timely manner.
- Monitor and utilize account management tools to track sales activity on a regular basis.
- Competition and industry mapping – constantly monitor competitive offerings as well as industry trends to remain in tune with trends in consumption to ensure that our offerings remain relevant.
- Oversee the complete sales process, from initial prospecting to negotiation to sign-up.
- Lead, mentor, and guide the Inside Sales Executive and Sales Managers to achieve team and organizational goals.
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills – verbal, written and presentation skills.
- Experience of minimum 3 - 5 years in Recruitment and staffing industry including managing C2H profiles.
- Willing to travel.
- High level of negotiation skills with the ability to engage to various levels (including CXO/VP)
