Role Overview:
We are seeking a Pre Sales Executive who will play a key role in connecting with college Training &
Placement Officers (TPOs) and corporate HR/recruitment professionals. The role involves database
research, outreach, and appointment setting to drive growth in both academia and industry.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Database Creation & Research
Build and maintain a strong database of colleges (TPOs/Deans) and corporate HR contacts through online research, LinkedIn, and industry directories.
Analyze industry hiring requirements and trends to align outreach efforts.
2) Outreach & Appointment Setting
Connect with TPOs and college placement cells to schedule meetings and presentations.
Reach out to corporate HR/recruitment teams to introduce trained candidates and set up discussions for placement tie-ups.
Make primary business calls and email campaigns to generate new leads and fix appointments.
3) Business Development Support
Qualify leads and pass them to the sales team for closures.
Track engagement and maintain detailed reports/CRM of calls, meetings, and follow-ups.
Provide feedback from the field to help refine offerings and improve industry-college alignment.
Desired Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
1–4 years of experience in pre-sales, lead generation, corporate outreach, or recruitment sales.
Strong research skills to build databases and understand industry/academic landscapes.
Excellent verbal & written communication skills in English (regional language fluency is a plus).
Confidence in cold calling, lead nurturing, and appointment fixing.
Target-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable working with minimal supervision.
