Regional Sales Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to lead and grow our sales operations across the assigned territories in East and South India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the building materials and wooden flooring sectors, with proven expertise in managing regional sales teams, achieving ambitious sales targets, and cultivating lasting relationships with architects, interior designers, builders, and channel partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective regional sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth objectives.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the regional sales team to ensure high performance and accountability.
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with key influencers including architects, interior designers, contractors, and channel partners.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new channel partners and distributors to expand market presence.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences to proactively identify new business opportunities.
- Conduct regular site visits and client meetings to assess requirements and provide customized solutions.
- Collaborate closely with marketing and product development teams to plan and execute promotional campaigns and product launches.
- Prepare, analyze, and present detailed sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum 7 years of experience in building materials, wooden flooring, or related industries.
- Strong professional network within the interior design, architecture, real estate, and construction ecosystems.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage dispersed regional teams, and travel extensively as required.
- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
